Mature Merino wethers grazing mulga were supplemented for 21 wk with 50 or 100 g molasses DM/day with or without 6 g urea/day. Growth rates were higher for the supplemented than the unsupplemented group (534 and -71 g/wk, resp.) Growth rates were higher with 100 g molasses DM/day (626 g/wk) than with 50 g (442 g/wk).
