Leucospaera bainesiiGrey shrublet up to 0.3 m high with woody gnarled branches. The young leaves and branches are densely hairy. The leaves are smooth, narrowly oval and 1-2 cm long. The flower heads are woody and spherical. Occurs especially in soils with surface lime. Readily eaten by cattle and sheep, and often very stunted by heavy browsing.
