Cymbopogon giganteusTufted perennial 1.5-2.4 m high with thick stems that occurs in wooded grasslands. Remains green long into the dry season. Well grazed only if thinly scattered among other grasses. Low nutritive value. Aromatic leaves with a characteristic "pepper" flavour.
