General Introduction

Protect cultivated lands, develop undeveloped land resources, increase multiple cropping index and keep the present sown areas stable;

Explore actively the water resources, construct inter-basin diversion projects, develop the water-saving agriculture and increase the utilization efficiency of water resources;

Increase the production of phosphate and potash fertilizers, increase the proportions of the organic, phosphate and potash fertilizers, conduct the land condition-based balance fertilization and increase the soil fertility;

Improve extensively the lower-middle grain-yielding farmlands;

Concentrate the efforts on the construction of the 8 major commodity grain bases;
