New guidelines on the safe use of powdered infant formula now available

As a follow up to the FAO/WHO risk assessment work on pathogens in powdered infant formula, WHO in collaboration with FAO have developed ‘Guidelines for the safe preparation, storage and handling of powdered infant formula’. This is currently available in English, French, Spanish, Chinese and Russian, and will shortly also be available in Arabic. Additional material has also been prepared, available in all six languages:
