Right to Food and Nutrition
The Right to Food is the right of every person to have regular access to sufficient, nutritionally adequate, safe and culturally acceptable food for an active, healthy life.
The Nutrition Education and Consumer Awareness
Group collaborates with FAO’s Right to Food Unit
in the provision of advocacy, educational and training materials
on the right to food and nutrition to raise awareness among
policy and decision makers and to support school and university-based
teaching, as well as non-formal education among youth and community
groups.
