Characteristics

A small tree with grey bark broken up into small blocks, greenish-grey curved leaves with few prominent veins, slender spikes of yellow flowers and short, broad, flat, woody pods; fairly common in open forest country in coastal districts. Eaten in very dry seasons (Everist, 1969).
