Somewhat similar to mulga in general appearance, but with less regular branching
and a darker bark. Pods are constricted between the seeds and are narrower
than those of mulga. Grows mainly on stony outcrops or the rims of lateritic
tablelands in the 375- to 625-mm rainfall belt south of about Charters Towers
in Queensland. It is normally regarded as of only secondary value, since
it is not particularly palatable (Everist, 1969).
