Description

Native perennial climbing herb with a tuberous root, reaching up to 4 m, with large pink and/or white flowers, turning yellow with age.

Distribution

In the Sahel it is restricted to wet places.

Products & uses

Eagerly sought after by all livestock and occasionally grown as an ornamental.
