Characteristics

Small tree; bark peels in peculiar curly, red-brown flakes; leaves narrow, almost straight, grey-green. In Queensland it is confined to the far south-west, often in brown pebbly soils on broken gullies. It is eaten freely by cattle (Everist, 1969).
