Description
Tree, somewhat resembling Acacia nilotica in appearance. It
is also thorny in the young stages, but appears to have little or no tendency
to grow in thickets. Flowers are in spikes and the pods are yellowish in
colour, thick, with a sweet pulp between the seeds.
Characteristics
Both leaves and pods are eaten by all classes of stock (Everist,
1969).
