Description

A trailing, quick growing annual legume, 0.7 m high with pink or bluish flowers turning yellow; very variable in foliage.

Characteristics

It produces excellent leafy growth and cover, and yielded 5 507 kg. dry matter per ha in Zambia. Produced no regrowth after cutting. It is capable of growing in Rhodes grass pastures, contributing a considerable amount of the herbage (van Rensburg, 1967).
