Common names: Wild tantan Description: Herbaceous, perennial, up to 20 cm high, strong root. Stems grow from crown, abundant, up to 60 cm long. Persistant in stony areas and low water availability due to strong root system. Distribution: Broad distribution in Central-North Argentina and Uruguay. Habitat: Grows in stony places with poor water availability. Use: Used for soil recovery and grazing. References: None |
