This involves understanding crop/environment interaction, improving management and increasing diversification. It proposes on-farm trials and training for facilitators and farmers. With CIMMYT and national wheat agronomists, Explore on-farm is being adapted for Central Asia Rice-wheat systems in South Asia are one of the world's main agricultural production systems.
