The Plan calls for improved access to information on plant genetic resources.

High priority is given to constructing broad, user-friendly information systems at national level and to promoting compatibility between countries.

Coordination at the global level will be developed in the context of FAO’s World Information and Early Warning System on plant genetic resources.
