Activity 20.

Public information activities are given high priority, to generate support for plant genetic resources activities at national and international levels. National programmes need appropriate information material in local languages.

Schools and educational institutes of all types, including specialized agricultural institutions, need to be encouraged to spread better understanding of the value of plant genetic resources to food security.
