AFMA is based in the FAO Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific, Bangkok. Membership is drawn from government departments, parastatals and cooperative institutions that are involved in planning and policy formulation; management and regulatory functions; supporting functions such as grading, information, inspection; physical handling, including procurement, storing and distribution; and training and research in the field of food marketing and management. Private-sector food marketing companies are also welcome.
