FAO is in the process of upgrading its “Linking Farmers to Markets” web pages and would appreciate your contribution to make this an important resource for organizations working in this area. In particular, we are looking for new case studies of ways in which farmers have linked with markets, through traders, cooperatives, private companies, etc.

Please consult the current web site. The objective is to illustrate how farmers’ market access may be improved. Besides success stories, we are also interested in case studies that highlight the challenges encountered in promoting farmer-market linkages. If at all possible, please submit case studies of around 500 words to us in a format consistent with that presently used, i.e. with the following sub-headings:
• the farmers, (or company or processor)
• the market(s),
• the linkages,
• the results, and
• the lessons.
