| Implementation of the
GPA |
The implementation of the Global
Plan of Action will be guided and monitored by countries through
the FAO Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture.
See Decisions
of the International Technical Conference concerning Implementation
of the GPA.
Following the Plan's adoption at the Leipzig Conference, both
countries and institutions and organisation concerned with Plant
Genetic Resources have begun to use their own resources and
existing capacity to implement the Plan. However, the Plan's
full implementation needs a significant increase in current
levels of activity. Information on Implementation of the GPA can be accessed here. |
