Fuzzy (FWC) and delinted whole cottonseed (DWC) contained crude protein 19.5 and 24.9, fat 18.5 and 21.8, fibre 28.0 and 21.2, ash 3.9 and 3.7 and total digestible nutrients 87.0 and 90.0%, respectively. Holstein-Friesian cows in their 2nd trimester of lactation, average daily milk yield >55 lb, were given for 2 months daily supplements of 0.5 lb FWC alone (control) or with 4.5 lb FWC or DWC. Use of DWC increased milk yield and was more economical than FWC.
