Effect of supplementation on yearlings grazing pangola grass (Digitaria decumbens Stent) with different stocking rates, segregation and fertilizer application.

In rotational grazing trials with 60 Holstein X Zebu yearlings between 8 and 10 months, D. decumbens cv. Comun was evaluated with stocking rates of 4 and 6 animals/ha and annual applications of 80, 160 or 240 kg N/ha. Molasses, urea and silage were supplied ad lib. in the dry season. There were no differences in liveweight gain between treatments.
