Tropical-Agriculture. 1985, 62: 1, 62-64; 13 ref. A total of 40 Large White growing pigs were fed on diets containing either 0.5, 10, 15 or 20% dried coffee pulp. Each treatment had 8 pigs in 2 replicate lots of 4. After a 12-week feeding trial, during which both feed and water were available ad libitum, half of the pigs (males) on each treatment were slaughtered. Average daily feed intake and weight gain, feed conversion efficiency and the various carcass traits measured were not significantly influenced by the inclusion of up to 20% dried coffee pulp.
