With an increasing world population, growing scarcity of natural resources and accelerating climate change, the livestock sector faces unprecedented challenges towards sustainability. Realizing that these challenges can only be addressed through global and concerted action, the sector is exploring novel forms of multi-stakeholder partnerships at national, regional and international levels.
