FAO, IDF and IFCN map the world’s dairy feeding systems

New publication to serve as key tool in planning dairy chain projects

Gathering information from over 65 countries across 6 continents and a number of production systems, this new report presents for the first time a large set of data on dairy animal feeding systems. This mapping will provide a useful tool for projects aiming at reducing the carbon footprint or improving social performance of the dairy chain, looking at the impact of animal diets on milk composition and human health and nutrition, and also those influencing animal health, welfare and productivity.
