Sector descriptor: Due to heavy rains it was agreed to have only one national demonstration which was very well attended by veterinarians and private persons. The main milk production area is located in the north of the country under a pastoralist system. Milk is then transported to Lome by vehicle.

Follow-up: Additional demonstrations to include the more farmers groups to be organised on a zonal basis to review the current challenges of milk production, collection and transportation in the country. Demonstrators require a strong vehicle and to be equipped with full testing equipment.
