Institutions

This section provides quick access to the address and reference of over 300 national and regional institutions dealing with water resources management and irrigation in the countries surveyed in the framework of the AQUASTAT programme. Typically they are the institutions having a mandate in either of the following fields:

• water resources assessment
• water resources management (including water supply)
• irrigation and drainage
• water quality management, environment and sanitation.

The list is not exhaustive and you are welcome to notify us of any changes or propose new entries. In this case, please contact aquastat@fao.org.
