Food Guidelines by Country

FAO is pleased to present dietary guidelines and food guides, which we have received from around the world. We invite governments to send us their guidelines and food guides.

Food-Based Dietary Guidelines from different countries contain similar broad messages based on principles of nutrition science. However, national dietary guidelines often contain unique features which were designed by national experts to address the priorities of each country.

The country materials on this website were produced by nutritionists in national governments. They have not been edited or changed by FAO.
