Transparency is a must, more so in the method of risk assessment and risk management. Transparency should not be limited only to placing the recommendations on website. Transparency should reveal the method adopted to reach the conclusion. Public debate should be invited on the method adopted and on the recommendations. Selection of experts should be done purely on unbiased basis. The scientific community is divided on many issues. Hence selection of experts should be on unbiased basis. Absolute openess is needed.
