«Food into Cities» Collection

The «Food into Cities» Collection, created in 1997, makes freely available electronic versions of information and technical literature, photos, slide shows and videos and is aimed at:

1. strengthening the understanding of the consequences on the food security of low income households of urban expansion, poverty growth and the costs of accessing food;
2. promoting the formulation of technically sound policies, strategies and action plans to strengthen the efficiency and dynamism of FSDSs at urban, periurban, rural levels in which local authorities and civil society organizations play a major role;
3. stimulating research on FSDS;
4. diffusing good practices in FSDSs development.
