Main activities and products

BRI offers a wide range of deposit and credit products: Thereby the micro finance division is important to mark. The so-called "BRI Unit" exists to manage the rural finance network. The KUPEDES loan was introduced to support individuals, groups, companies and families involved small-scale business.

The two saving products are:
SIMPEDES representing the majority of the Unit deposits (60-70%) and combined with a lottery (SIMASKOT)

Another important Program is the "Income Generating Project for Marginal Farmers and the Landless (P4K), a joint income-generating project of the BRI and the government for the eradication of poverty through Human Development.

The Bank also offers commercial loans to co-operatives, consumption loans to special groups (fixed income employees or pensioner) credit for small entrepreneurs (KUK) and other credit instruments.
