If developing countries can be internationally competitive through building their capacity to use new technologies and develop world class products and services, then economic growth can be assured.

AGST is resourced to distil and apply appropriate lessons from the best available knowledge and experience in order to assist member countries to enhance the competitiveness of their food and agricultural products.

We work in partnership with governments and stakeholders to advocate and support technical improvements in the supply chains for food and agricultural products. Thus, AGST is a group of engineers and technologists intent on building our clients' capacity to advance their own technical needs and to help them become internationally competitive in their markets.
