Feeding Minds Fighting Hunger
An educational initiative for children to help create a world Free from hunger and malnutrition
Feeding Minds, Fighting Hunger is a global education and advocacy initiative to introduce young people to the issues of hunger, malnutrition and food security. The materials have been designed as a starting point for teachers around the world to prepare and encourage their students to become actively involved in helping create a world free from hunger and malnutrition. Teachers can adapt and refine the materials to meet their local needs and conditions. The lessons and teaching materials are available in Arabic, Chinese, English, Farsi, French, Greek, Bahasa Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Kiswahili on the Internet , on CD-ROM and in print form. Feeding Minds reaches out directly to youth through its "Youth Window" and "Right to Food: A Window on the World", which provide information, resources and activities for young people to use on their own.
