The livestock sector in Africa is expected to transform in the coming years. During the last decade African economies have grown at an unprecedented rate and with further growth expected, the continent will become one of the fastest growing economic regions in the world. As incomes grow, so does the demand for livestock products. Despite this economic growth Africa’s livestock productivity levels have shown a modest change.
