FAO Rural Infrastructure and Agro-Industries Division (AGS), in partnership with the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation (CTA) and the African Rural and Agricultural Credit Association (AFRACA), is organizing Fin4Ag 2014 – Revolutionising finance for agri-value chains – to be held in Nairobi from 14 to 18 July 2014.

The conference fits within the context of the “2014 International Year of Family Farming (IYFF)”, and contributes to the achievement of FAO’s Strategic Objective Four “Enable inclusive and efficient agricultural and food systems”

The purpose of the conference is to discuss what is the cutting-edge knowledge on enabling financing for investments in African agriculture. More than 600 participants will be joining the event which brings together major finance policy makers, bankers, development finance practitioners, academics and agricultural and ICT service providers from across the world.
