The Intergovernmental Technical Working Group
on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture

The Commission on Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (CGRFA) established a subsidiary Intergovernmental Technical Working Group on Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (ITWG-PGRFA) at its Seventh Session in 1997, to address issues specific to plant genetic resources for food and agriculture. The terms of reference and activities of the Working Group are described in its Statutes. The Secretariat of the ITWG-PGRFA lies with the AGP Division in FAO Headquarters.

Members

The members of the Working Group are elected every two years, during Regular Sessions of the CGRFA. See the current members of the ITWG-PGRFA.

Meetings
