NSP - Mesobiota

enchytraeid

Mesobiota are organisms generally ranging in size from 0.1 to 2 mm in diameter. These include mainly micro-arthropods, such as pseudo-scorpions, protura, diplura, springtails, mites, small myriapods (pauropoda and symphyla) and the worm-like enchytraeids. Mesobiota have limited burrowing ability and generally live within soil pores, feeding on organic materials, microflora, microfauna and other invertebrates.
