The FAO Prevention and Disposal of Obsolete Pesticide Programme has successfully implemented inventory and repackaging of obsolete pesticides in Syria. As a result, the programme will expand to include other countries in the Near East in similar projects in collaboration with donor agencies and stakeholders.
