Information Management Standards for Electronic Publishing in Agriculture

How should international agricultural information services react to the drastic changes in the information landscape, and what developments can be expected in the coming years? An informal meeting was held in Brussels on 6 November 2000 with a number of organisations working in Agricultural information and Web standards. A general overview of the theme was given in the introduction. The meeting focused on meta-data and unique identifiers for electronic information resources.
