How can we work together to integrate national agricultural information in the global information space?

Second edition of the online Round Table on AGRIS trends and the evolution of the management and dissemination of agricultural scientific content

The Republican Scientific Agricultural Library of the State Agrarian University of Moldova, in collaboration with FAO, is organizing a round table on Tuesday, 8 June 2021, 10:00 EEST.

The first part of the roundtable will be dedicated to AGRIS. It will focus on facilitating access and increasing the visibility of agricultural scientific content from the Republic of Moldova in the context of AGRIS trends and the evolution of the management and dissemination of information and research data in the field of agriculture and food.

The event will provide information about the impact of AGRIS on data providers and information users; new approaches and the evolution of AGRIS information technology; the role of the National AGRIS Center in Moldova in promoting Romanian agricultural research worldwide; and exploring opportunities for collaboration between agricultural institutions in the Republic of Moldova.

During the event, the results of the campaign "Increase your research visibility through AGRIS!" will be presented. The aim of this campaign was to increase the collection and integration of scientific papers from the Republic of Moldova in the AGRIS system.

The AGRIS directory will be also launched on the library website, with information about the AGRIS system, AGRIS activities in the Republic of Moldova, and AGRIS publications in Romanian.
