Master on agroecology: An approach for rural sustainability

The main objective of this master is to train researchers and teachers of high level in agroecology, as a field of emerging transdisciplinary knowledge. This is intended to contribute to meeting the demands of the agrifood system crisis and the challenges it must face to reach acceptable levels of sustainability.

Another of the objectives of the master is to acquire knowledge in the main advances in the essential and interdisciplinary fields of Agroecology, as well as in its possible agronomic, environmental, economic and social repercussions. Likewise, the way of applying the acquired knowledge and its ability to solve agroecological research problems in the academic and technical fields will be taught.

The interuniversity master's degree in agroecology is taught in person at Baeza, at the Antonio Machado headquarters of the International University of Andalusia (UNIA) during the first thirteen weeks of the year. An intense experience and full of discoveries with the best international faculty in the field of Agroecology, with field trips and with a choice of practices.

The access profile is multidisciplinary and welcomes students with degrees in social sciences, natural sciences and health sciences.
