Virtual seminar ''Rivers of women: critical dialogues and systems of domination in Latin America'' on April 22, 2021

The seminar ''Latin American Pathways for an Antipatriarchal Agroecology'' is organized by Latin American Council of Social Sciences (CLACSO)'s Working Group ''Political Agroecology'' through its Transversal Working Group ''Women, youth, indigenous peoples and Afro-descendants'', together with the Brazilian Association of Agroecology (ABA), the National Articulation of Agroecology of Brazil (ANA) and the Latin American Scientific Society for Agroecology (SOCLA).

The objective of the seminar is to explore the role of diverse social movements (women, LGBTI+, peasants, indigenous and afro) in the construction of processes that favor the construction of agroecology in Latin America. The seminar consists of four sessions and will take place in virtual modality during 2021.

The first session of the Seminar entitled "Rivers of women: critical dialogues and systems of domination in Latin America" will be held on Thursday, April 22, 2021, at 14:00 hrs Central America / 15:00 hrs Mexico / 17:00 hrs Argentina-Brazil. Argentina-Brazil. The seminar will be streamed live from SOCLA's YouTube channel www.youtube.com/soclacanal.
