The food system of Valparaíso in Chile faces many challenges: a neoliberal economic model that favors national economic development to the detriment of small local producers, the low purchasing power of households hinders access to healthy food, a strong legacy of the dictatorship of Pinochet, who still generates fear of change. However, the initiatives are born in the territory, the awakening of consciousness, although recent, is present, and the new local government is the source of many hopes. This film was directed by Anna Faucher and Louison Lançon, from the Let's Food Association, as part of the Let's Food Cities project. This diagnosis of the food system in Valparaíso was made between December 2018 and February 2019. More than 30 actors were interviewed and 15 initiatives with a positive impact were identified.
