International Exchange: Women, guardians of sustainable food systems - strategic partnerships for women's empowerment

Following the session Rural Women, Agroecology and Covid-19, the course Formation and Use of Agroecological Notebooks - Africa will take place on 28 July.

The session will be public and will feature the participation of family farmers, the national gender institute, donors and international agencies, with the aim of presenting the results and lessons learned from the pilot action in Sao Tome and Principe, and assessing possibilities for synergies and strategic partnerships involving other countries as well.

This capacity-building action is a partnership between the  Sustainable Food Policies in Sao Tome and Principe (PAS-STP) project, co-financed by the European Union and the Camões Institute, implemented by Action for Agricultural Development and Environmental Protection  (ADAPPA), Marquês de Valle Flôr Institute (IMVF) and ACTUAR, the SEMEAR International Program, a program of the International Fund for Agricultural Development - IFAD, implemented by the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture - IICA, IFOAM - Organics International, the Community of Portuguese-Speaking Countries (CPLP)! Food Platform and the CPLP Rede das Margaridas (Network of CPLP organizations working with rural women’s rights).
