Among the objectives of the "Guidelines for Provincial Educational Policies on Agroecology" is to "encourage teachers and professionals to create areas of reflection and action in the school environment, focusing on the management of soil, water, plants, animals and at the same time establishing a healthy relationship of harmony with the environment".

One of the agroecological aspects involves developing social movement that promotes and supports healthy coexistence between humankind and nature, safeguards the environment for present and future generations, enhances local cultures, encourages food security, and promotes equity by fostering social inclusion.  In this regard, these guidelines aim to favor the development of students' cognitive abilities on agroecology.
