Building the capacity for informed decision making at all levels of AWM is very necessary for Africa. In order to implement and make good use of new technologies and practices, it is critical to have a sufficient cadre of skilled people, from the highest policy levels, to research and implementation, to their effective use by farmers.

• Support capacity building based on CENA (capacity enhancement needs assessment), technology transfer, and bridging the gaps in AWM.
• Implementation of trainings on AWM for government officials, extension agents and farmers.
