First Agricultural Ontology Service (AOS) Workshop, FAO Headquarters, Rome, Italy, 14-15 November 2001

Introduction

The first Agricultural Ontology Workshop was held in FAO from November 14 to 15, 2001. An open invitation was sent to interested potential partners. The goal of the workshop was to discuss the AOS concept paper which was prepared by the AGRIS/CARIS and Documentation Group of FAO and to explore the possibility of launching a project in collaboration with ontology experts and potential partners.
