Regional focal points and networks for animal genetic resources management were invited to report on their activities contributing to the implementation of the Global Plan of Action as part of the first round of reporting on the implementation of the Global Plan of Action for Animal Genetic Resources and as part of the reporting process for The Second Report on the State of the World’s Animal Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture.
