Expert Meeting Reports Now Available on Antimicrobial Resistance and the Environment, Biocides, and Foods of Plant Origin

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is pleased to share new summary reports on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) expert meetings held last year, addressing critical issues in the fight against superbugs. World experts gathered in Rome for a series of meetings to discuss priority areas for action including: AMR and the Environment, AMR and Biocides, and AMR and Foods of Plant Origin.

These summary reports are based on the discussions of technical meetings of experts on these issues, convened by FAO in October and November 2017. More detailed technical papers are forthcoming.
