    Protecting and Promoting Food Security and Nutrition for Families and Children in Bangladesh

    FAO, WFP and UNICEF jointly with the government of Bangladesh have been implementing a three-year (2010-2013) MDG-F programme titled “Protecting and promoting food security and nutrition for families and children in Bangladesh”. This project is funded by the Government of Span through MDG-F that addresses the availability, access and utilization of nutritious foods.  The project is being implemented in Barisal Division along the southern coastal belt of Bangladesh with the aims to achieve improved food and nutrition security for vulnerable children and pregnant women affected by acute and moderate malnutrition.[more
