FAO/World Bank Regional Workshop: Strengthening Monitoring and Evaluation in World Bank-financed projects
The overall objective of the workshop is to strengthen the capacity for an effective M&E of agriculture investment projects in the Asia and the Pacific Region in order to achieve development outcomes.

The workshop will look at the framework for M&E, by emphasizing the linkages between the Theory of Change of a project, Planning, Budgeting, M&E and Economic & Financial Analysis. The workshop will provide an opportunity for participants to learn from each other about good M&E practices and innovative tools, but also to exchange lessons learnt and discuss the challenges they are facing in their day-to-day M&E work. 35 M&E experts from 16 countries in the region (Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Samoa, Sri Lanka, Timor Leste and Vietnam) will participate, as well as five officers from RAP. Participants include M&E Officers from World Bank-financed projects as well as staff from Government and FAO in charge of M&E.
